How Accounds collects, uses, secures, and retains information.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
We collect your account email, authentication records, order information, support messages, and limited technical information required to secure the service. At checkout we retain the policy wording you accepted and pseudonymous hashes of the connection and browser identifiers used for fraud and dispute evidence; these hashes do not contain delivered credentials.
Information is used to operate accounts, process and deliver orders, prevent fraud, provide support, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Session cookies are HTTP-only and signed; each device session is also checked against a revocable server-side record whose secret is stored only as a hash. Recent sign-in time, expiry, IP address, and browser description are retained for account security. Delivered account data is encrypted while stored.
We may use infrastructure, email, payment, analytics, and inventory providers where necessary to operate Accounds. Providers receive only the information required for their role.
Account and transaction records are retained while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Signed-in users can download a portable account archive and submit a tracked deletion request from Profile → Your data and privacy. You may request corrections through support. Certain transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting, and dispute records may need to be retained.
Essential cookies and storage keep you signed in, protect account access, and associate orders with the correct customer. Optional first-party analytics runs only after consent, respects Do Not Track, records campaign parameters and server-confirmed commerce events, and can be declined without affecting core functionality. Advertising measurement requires a separate choice and may load a seller-configured Google, Meta, or TikTok tag to share page location, product, order reference, and purchase value. Accounds does not send customer email, support content, or delivered goods to those tags. Click identifiers retained by first-party analytics are stored only as hashes. Revoking advertising consent reloads the page to stop previously loaded tags.
Privacy questions and data requests can be submitted through the Contact page.
